Committee Reports:
·
Bitterroot Valley
Military Program: See attached report from Sean Smothers.
·
ALERT – Commander Harris spoke briefly about the lack of response from various
post members, which is due to, in part, a lack of emergencies in the area. He still wants to flesh out membership in the
medical and air teams.
·
Radio Club – Doug reported that members have been learning how to build their own
simple antennas. A fox hunt was held,
and the club supported Robert’s Run.

institutions.
·
Bitterroot
Marksmanship Club – See attached report.

videographer to produce a short Post video to help fundraising efforts.
·

was good for the picnic. The fishing

New
Business
·
Women’s
Pistol Course – Due to Vern’s
changing schedule and range availability, the course has been postponed for a
few months.
·
Fundraising
update – July income was bolstered by
several donations. The committee has put
together a brochure that can be used as a resource for fundraising. Work is being done on a short video that will
also be used for fundraising activities.
·
Active Duty
Reconnect Changes – As the ADR is one of our main expenses, the thought
from the Executive Committee is the program needs to be reviewed and remain
focused on local active-duty personnel.
More discussions will be held.
·
Future Programs – A draft form of an annual activities calendar was included in the agenda.
(Attached).
Good

·

was drawn (Adjutant did not record the name). That member was not present to win the $500
Frontier Guns and Ammo gift certificate.

in the move of a disabled veteran and spouse from Hamilton to Stevensville.
·
